Why Use Southbend Oven?
The foodservice industry required a low profile, high-performanceconvection oven design that can be used as a countertop application,stacked or range base while also allowing cook top creativity. The ovenwould be used in bakeries, restaurants, cafeterias, and other facilitiesto support their demanding high volume food production necessary forprofitability. TruVection met the challenge by offering a gas convectionoven with a patented high-efficiency in-shot burner system providing fastcold starts and rapid cavity temperature recovery. Superior uniform bakingperformance is achieved via oven baffle technology that tempers the heatedair when mixed with cooler cavity air.

- Exterior Finish: Stainless steel front, sides and top
- Doors: Dependent doors with windows. Low emissionglass, stainless steel construction, heavy-duty welded steel frame and5/8” diameter full-length hinge pin.
- Oven Interior: Porcelain enamel finish, coved, fastenerfree.
- Rack and Rack Guides: Heavy-duty removable wire rackguides spaced on 1-5/8” centers offer 5 different rack positions. Threewire racks provided with each oven.
- Blower Fan and Motor: 1/2hp, 2-speed motor, 1710/1120r.p.m
- Oven Heating: Oven heating is regulated by anadjustable thermostat control. Blower fan circulates air within thecavity “scrubbing” heat to the oven interior for even heat distributionwithin the cavity.
- Electrical System: Terminal connections are locatedbelow oven section and are accessible from the front of the oven. Thesesheath type electrical heating elements located at the rear of the ovenfunction as a single heating unit with a combined rating of 7.5 kW.Available voltages include 208. 240, 380, and 480 VAC single or threephase, 50/60 Hz. Ovens equipped with 480VAC single or three phaseheating elements use 240V controls and motors and do not requireseparate electrical lead wires.
- Control Panel: Located on front, at right side of oven, awayfrom heat zone. Removable panel pulls out for easy servicing.
- Interior Lights: Two 40 watt high temperature recessedlamps located within the oven cavity
